The Encircle
Promise
We surround you with the support you need, exactly when you need it most.
We are mothers, daughters, granddaughters and caregivers. We are senior care management specialists, health care professionals and real estate experts.
While we know major life transitions generate a heavy burden of worry and uncertainty for seniors and their children, we also know there is a better way.
Encircle is an independent women-owned business.
Meet Us
I grew up loving my grandparents and other seniors in my life. As a second grader in Moraga, I would hop on my bike and head for the senior home down the street, where I’d play bingo with residents, listen to their stories, admire one woman’s miniature doll collection, and be captivated by another’s vintage photos from her days as a film starlet. (Ask me about my encounter with the original Jane from “Tarzan”!)
My aha moment, when I decided to create Encircle, hit me when I helped my Grandma Penny sell her house and move into graduated senior living. It was a big job and she couldn’t have done it alone. I realized there are so many more older people who need our help and expertise!
Treasured keepsake from an elder: Grandma Penny’s handwritten cards and watercolor paintings.
What I hope to be doing when I’m 80: Exactly what I’m doing right now: helping other people. I really love what I do! Also, I’ll be loving on my grandchildren, of course.

I grew up in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. I loved the South but ventured west to attend the University of Colorado in beautiful Boulder. Following college, I continued on my western route and landed in San Francisco. The Bay Area has been my home since 2000, and is where I “found my heart!"
Treasured keepsake from an elder: My great grandmother’s diamond from her wedding ring, which we repurposed into my wedding ring.
What I hope to be doing when I’m 80: I hope to still be traveling and enjoying food from all around the world.

In my mind, there wasn’t ever any question of what kind of career path I’d take. I grew up with older neighbors, and my mother always sent me out to bring them food and cheer.
I know from experience that seniors are not always able to advocate for themselves or to be aware of all the options available to them. The whole process can be confusing. Some seniors might not have any help at all after their children move away. Some may be living in unsafe conditions and not even know it.
They need someone with background, expertise, resources and the ability to collaborate with clients and families. I love being the one who helps!
Treasured keepsake from an elder: Silver salt and pepper shakers, given to my parents as a wedding present.
What I hope to be doing when I’m 80: Living life well and traveling!
