We specialize in working with adult children and other decision-makers who live out of the area and/or are busy with their own children and careers. We listen to your concerns, research options, make professional care recommendations and coordinate services your loved one needs. We can even act as a mediator if desired. Throughout our partnership, we will always communicate thoroughly and regularly with you.

We know your senior’s home is filled with precious belongings and countless memories. Encircle’s resources include professional organizers, estate liquidation specialists, professional packers, haulers and more.

Today’s seniors overwhelmingly want to live out their retirement years at home instead of in a facility. We help your elder stay in his or her home by identifying what they need to live safely and independently. This might include home modifications (like ramps and handrails), meal delivery, medication supervision, housekeeping, in-home health care and electronic monitoring or emergency services like Life Alert. If necessary, we can guide them in securing a reverse mortgage, a decision that can support their plans to age in place. 

A senior care manager helps families navigate their loved ones’ multi-layered care. A care manager is like your personal air traffic controller, coordinating your senior’s myriad health, housing, and other service needs, while never allowing anything to crash. A senior care manager is especially useful to families who want to help their senior but live out of town or aren’t always available on site.

First we get to know you and your parents and discuss what they want and need. Then we explain all of your options (plenty in the East Bay!) and create a timeline and transition plan.

We start with a consultation to assess your senior’s unique wants and needs. We then create a custom plan, implement it, follow up and reassess as necessary.

We have a vetted network of resources, including move managers specializing in the senior community. These dedicated and compassionate individuals know how to help make your parents’ next residence feel like home, and can help them with all move-in needs. 

The most important thing that we do at Encircle is to lead with compassion. We are here to listen and help, and compassion and dignity guide us through every step of the process. 

During our initial consultation, we will ask you and your family members how you would best like to communicate, and at what cadence. Communication and transparency are key to creating a successful plan, and we will customize our communications plan based on your needs and expectations.

We have a vetted network of resources, including elder law attorneys, who can help navigate the steps necessary to protect your parent and their assets. 

Every referral and connection within Encircle has been vetted and interviewed personally.  All are bonded, licensed, screened and background checked.  If they have not been, we will let you know in advance.

• A la carte hourly: $150/hr
• 4-hour package: $560 ($140/hr, save $40)
• 10-hour package: $1,300 ($130/hr, save $200)
• 20-hour package: $2,400 ($120/hr, save $600)
